THE MOST EPIC RED CARPET FAILS OF ALL TIME WILL MAKE YOU CRINGE

THE MOST EPIC RED CARPET FAILS OF ALL TIME WILL MAKE YOU CRINGE

GRAHAM TRIPS UP

Ashley Graham has been one of the hardest-working plus-sized models of the 21st century. She is also a television presenter and social media influencer, which has helped her rise to recognition in the United States. Besides striving to be her best self, she also has some off days, one of which couldn’t come at a worse time.

Graham hit the red carpet at the 2017 Time 100 Gala in New York City, both figuratively and literally, in a rare embarrassing moment. While making her way down the carpet after a flurry of photos, her heel got entangled with her silky dress, and she tripped, almost falling.

FASHION TOO FAR?

Britney Spears is regarded as the Queen of Pop, and rightly so. Besides giving us some of the best hits of all time, she has been a fashion icon for as long as we can remember, with some of her best statements coming during the late ’90s and early ’00s.

This dress was among the extensive list of outfits that she made headlines with. While she has always been an advocate for bold fashion, most of her fans felt that she took it too far and that she should have covered herself more. It still goes down as one of her iconic moments, though.

rple bruise on her hip backstage as she reflected on and mocked the moment. Too bad she wouldn’t leave with a gong that day!

AWKWARD EMMA WATSON UNWRAP

Emma Watson became famous for portraying Hermione Granger in the enormously successful “Harry Potter” series, a role she played for a decade. Despite starting her career at a young age and growing into the scene gracefully, she also has her awkward moments, contrary to most people’s belief that celebrities have to be perfect.

Watson is always eager to embrace any moments that come her way with a smile on her face. This was clearly visible when her dress accidentally came unwrapped at the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Luckily, she didn’t panic and put it back seamlessly.

UP CLOSE AND CHEEKY WITH CAMERON DIAZ

Leslie Mann and Cameroon Diaz starred in the romantic comedy film “The Other Woman,” where they were impressive as they were on the red carpet of the film’s premiere in 2014. They looked as happy as they could be, and why not when they had finished a masterpiece they will always be known for?

Mann’s ever-smiling and joyful nature seemed to get the best of her as she got a bit frisky with Diaz. She danced around Diaz and even slyly grabbed her behind. She must have thought she would get away with it, but everyone around them seemed to notice the cheeky moment

A WRISTSHAKE!

Reese Witherspoon and Felicity Jones have made their mark in the industry, which led to both being nominated for an Oscar for best actress. When they met on the red carpet, the cameras were due to be pointed in their direction and catch every little moment of their warm, smiley conversation, and they did see something.

In what was not an embarrassing but awkward moment for both Witherspoon and Jones, they seemed to hold each other’s wrists instead of palms. We are not sure whether we can still call it a handshake, but they both looked happy and smiley, so there’s nothing more to read from it.

AN AWKWARD KISS

Scarlett Johansson is one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood. Having started her career as a child actor, she made a name for herself through productions such as “The Black Widow” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Due to her status, she has been at the center of some pretty awkward moments.

Anyone who attended the 2015 Oscars can remember the moment when John Travolta tried to plant a kiss on Johansson’s cheek while holding her midsection. However, she was looking straight ahead and didn’t flinch, making it look like she was a wax figure. Despite critics, the encounter was “sweet and totally welcome,” according to her.

UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS

Hayden Panettiere is well known for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville.” However, despite her fame over the years, it wasn’t enough to prevent her from having an off moment while attending the 2014 MET Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, contrary to the expectations of many.

The museum’s stairs have been known to be hostile to people in heels, and Panettiere was just another victim. She seemed to lose her footing as she went up the red carpet stairs, and she seemed to be in utter distress in her voluminous ball gown. Luckily, she seemed to recover pretty quickly as she celebrated reaching the final step.

PRANK GONE TOO FAR

Pranks are among the most controversial things. While most of them are usually bad, they are only good if they result in laughter for anyone involved. However, this is not exactly true for Ukrainian TV reporter Vitalii Sediuk, who established himself as a notorious celebrity prankster in the early 2010s.

In 2014, Sediuk was at the Cannes Film Festival in France when he met his next victim, America Ferrera. While she was busy taking photos, he dived onto the floor and put his head under her flowing skirt. Luckily for her, he was escorted out immediately, and she recovered fast.

TO ERR IS HUMAN

Interviewing celebrities at a red carpet event is almost every journalist’s dream. However, sometimes the pressure can get too much and cause errors. This happened to NBC News correspondent Jenna Bush Hager as she attempted to interview Pharell Williams at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

Williams, who is well known for directing the movie “Hidden Figures” was almost shocked when Hager asked him how he felt to be nominated for the film “Hidden Fences.” The error proved to be the worst of her career, but she was quick to realize it later and apologize to Williams and the cast, who accepted.

LOHAN GOES DOWN

Lindsay Lohan rose to stardom with her scintillating role in the 1998 Disney film “The Parent Trap” before carrying on her impressive form in almost every role she played. While she was a child actor then, she has become one of the industry’s best actresses.

Lohan has also had her fair share of embarrassing moments in public. It happened again when she tripped and fell on the red carpet of the Ischia Film Festival in Italy in 2014. With her dazzling silver flapper-inspired dress and matching heels, we would love to say it was a graceful fall, but it definitely wasn’t.

ADAM LEVINE TO THE RESCUE

Maroon 5 frontman and heartthrob Adam Levine and his wife, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, have always been a couple to adore. However, they have also had controversial moments on camera, and one of the worst has to be when her dress almost fell off and displayed more than planned.

While attending the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party in 2015, Prinsloo almost suffered the worst wardrobe fail ever, and it would have been if Levine hadn’t been there. He gracefully covered the scene with his hand while she fixed it, making it an adorable moment, except for the stern look on his face.

SHE JUST WON’T LEAVE

Red carpet events draw a large number of public figures from the entertainment industry and become a hive of activity for reporters attempting to interview them. While it is pretty overwhelming for the artists, it is also stressful for the reporter trying to switch from one celebrity to the other.

Giuliana Rancic found herself in a fix at the 2016 Emmy Awards when she was interviewing “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke and attempted to dismiss her so that she could interview Heidi Klum. However, Clarke appeared not to want to leave, presenting an awkward situation for both her and Rancic

RUBBERWOMAN IN THE BUILDING

Red carpet events call for near-perfection in everything the guests do. However, contrary to the expectations, something seems to go wrong, or an awkward moment appears out of nowhere. Actress Marion Cottilard was not giving anyone a chance to make fun of her when she dropped her earing at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.

Cottilard was clad in a white jumpsuit and heels, and it looked like things would go haywire when she had to pick her earing from the red carpet. However, she showed her flexibility when she contorted herself to get down and pick it up while maintaining her balance.

KLUM GOES BOOM

Hosting a red carpet event is always a pleasure for any celebrity who is chosen for the role. Heidi Klum was selected to host the 2008 Emmy Awards, and having been there and done that, nothing was bound to go wrong that day. However, it looks like her co-host, Tom Bergeron, had other plans.

In an awkward moment, Klum pretended to swoon in the arms of Bergeron when he accidentally dropped her. She would later show a pu

AMY SCHUMER’S EPIC “FALL”

Celebrities are not always what many people make them out to be. They may seem ignorant when we want to take selfies, but it’s always for their own security, or they’re just having an off day. Amy Schumer encountered the same thing at the 2015 Time 100 Gala in 2015 as she tried to get the attention of Kanye West and his then-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Schumer was relatively unknown to the public then, and she threw herself down to try and capture the couple’s attention. Too bad for her, they walked away hastily, not even eager to know who she was. That was pretty embarrassing!

FIRING BACK

The Vanity Fair Oscars party is the place to be for many celebrities, and some of them are not there to play around. When they show up in style and glamor, they always look forward to people’s reactions and don’t take being put down too well, as Tiffany Haddish showed us.

“Entertainment Tonight’s” Lauren Zima accidentally called Haddish’s outfit a “costume change.” However, Haddish was hoping for more than that, as she explained to Zima that it was a custom Dolce & Gabbana outfit. She continued responding until Zima had to jokingly announce her “time of death” before pretending to faint.

RIHANNA’S DRESS ALMOST DOWN

Celebrities are expected to attend red carpet events in the most extravagant style and glamor they can master, and they do that and even exceed expectations. However, very few seem to be prepared for the worst when choosing their outfits, as what could possibly go wrong in a room full of celebrities?

Rihanna nearly discovered the hard way that it’s better to be prepared for anything when fashion designer Stella McCartney almost tore off her dress from her body with her heel. Thankfully, it didn’t happen, and it was such a relief, even though we know Rihanna could have made it seem like just a slight inconvenience.

NO TO HEELS

Kristen Stewart is a renowned American actress known for her role as Isabella in “The Twilight” saga. She also made headlines for being the highest-paid actress in the world in 2012; of course, we will never forget her reaction to wearing heels on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

Wearing heels is not the most pleasant thing for any woman, and Stewart was not afraid to remove hers when she felt like they were not comfortable. And in doing so, she not only showed her true feelings about the festival’s no-flats policy and became a women’s hero. Way to go, Kristen!
