Remini, 53, claims Scientology's "mob-style operations and attacks" have "significantly" impacted her life and career. BBC News has asked the Church of Scientology for comment. In a statement released to Variety, Remini said: "For 17 years, Scientology and David Miscavige have subjected me to what I believe to be psychological torture, defamation, surveillance, harassment, and intimidation, significantly impacting my life and career. "I believe I am not the first person targeted by Scientology and its operations, but I intend to be the last." When a neighbor had launched a children’s pop-up boutique and desperately needed models. Leah Rose and Ava Marie volunteered and landed their first job, and Jaqi took a few photos with her camera. The photos provided the neighbor with promotional material, while the twins developed a portfolio to show around when looking for jobs.

After gathering the photos, Jaqi made the decision to share them out to various agencies in the industry with the expectation that one of them will be eager to represent the girls. It turned out that almost every agency that she contacted was impressed and desired to meet the girls.

Why Not Have Two?


With several offers from agencies coming for Leah Rose and Ava Marie, their mother concluded that it wouldn’t hurt to choose two to promote the girls. Because one was based in Orange County and the other in Los Angeles, Jaqi reasoned that there would be no conflict and that the girls would benefit from increased exposure.
